This is a pre-owned RT-88L tuba mouthpiece.  The "L" stands for large shank.  This specific mouthpiece is in excellent condition with minor signs of use on the shank.

The Robert Tucci RT-88 tuba mouthpiece is for the serious tubist that wants to be the foundation of the orchestra or band.  This large mouthpiece gives the player a strong, reliable low register that responds well in very soft passages as well as extremely loud music.  The cup of the RT-88 is more bowl shaped which can give a BBb or CC tuba a wide range of tonal colors.  This is a great mouthpiece for the tubist with large lips!
