  • Condition: This is a 5 3 model trumpet mouthpiece made by Carol Purviance.This is not the reprint from Bob Reeves, but the original Purviance.I bought it from an overseas mouthpiece manufacturer who kept it for data (in unplated condition) and had it plated.As a comparison, I felt it was a bit large for me, having used a Bach 3C for a long time.The characteristic feature is the rim, which has a unique fit and gives the impression of a very soft mouthfeel.The shank is thicker, so the setting is a little longer for Yamaha and Buck instruments.There are not many of these available today, and it is probably rare to find one in good condition.

    This is a 5 3 model trumpet mouthpiece made by Carol Purviance.
    This is not the reprint from Bob Reeves, but the original Purviance.
    I bought it from an overseas mouthpiece manufacturer who kept it for data (in unplated condition) and had it plated.
